| The Practice was founded in 1982 by Chris Beckett trading as Beckett Associates and was rebranded in 2007 to Axon Beckett Ltd following its acquisition by Axon Architects.
Chris Beckett retired from the practice in 2009 and remains a part time consultant to the company; Nigel Axon RIBA is the Director of the company.
With nearly 30 years in the industry, the practices approach is driven by the needs of the client to produce the results that meet their commercial and practical needs, whilst maintaining design, character, individually and in particular budgets. The experience and heritage of the company continues to provide a level of service that exceeds client expectations.
We are a Chartered Practice of the Royal Institute of British Architects(RIBA) are ISO 9001-2000 complaint for Management Standards and ISO 14001 for Sustainable Code of Practice.
